Law Firm Pro Bono PoliciesThe Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation can put you in touch with law firms from around the state that have well-established and highly effective pro bono policies. The pro bono coordinators at these offices can advise attorneys who are looking to formulate pro bono strategies and/or boost pro bono participation at their firms. Guidance is also available for lawyers whose firms are struggling with some of the ethical uncertainties that can arise in pro bono contexts (e.g. conflicts of interest). Please contact us by phone (1-800-877-9772) or by e-mail for more information. Additionally, the Pro Bono Institute at Georgetown University Law Center provides support, guidance, training, resources, and inspiration to major law firms, in-house corporate legal departments, and public interest organizations seeking to expand and enhance access to justice for low-income persons. Click here to find out more about the Institute.
