Pro Bono Opportunities for Lawyers

Pro bono services (volunteer lawyers) are a vital part of meeting the legal needs of Ohio's low income population. Legal services programs cannot meet all the needs of the poor. According to a 1991 statewide assessment of the civil legal needs of Ohio's poor, almost 80% of the legal problems of Ohio's poor receive no attention.

Volunteer lawyers can help reduce the unmet needs of Ohio's poor in many ways.
